A really great place  to visit for all the family.  The whole family can enjoy a great day ourt and learn about a working woodland with the bonus opportunity for some good teas and cakes a wood burning stove in Winter!

Traditional Hedgelaying courses
This link will take you through to the national hedgelaying society's site from here you can find your local group.  It is hard work but thoroughly rewarding to become a part of the restoration of a  hedge to its original state and then go back and see it's progress and the wildlife that has moved back into this important habitat.

Training  and Species Surveying with Bromley
Practical couses for wildlife surveying  learnt about butterfly transcepts, dragonflies and chalk downland plants.  Bromley also has a countryside management volunteer group every Wednesday and Thursday  during term time  working at Hangrove, Downe, cudham, Ruxley lakes, Chislehurst, Hewitts Bank, Primrose Hll, biggin Hill mostly on chalk downland management.
