Social side to the group

The group also has a programme of social events. This includes holidays away. Recently some of our members went away for a week's barge holiday on the Canal du Midi. Other holidays in the past have included visits to Skandinavia, Ireland, Italy and Belgium.

We often arrange local walks, visits, ten pin bowling and BBQs in the Summer. Recent trips have included Shepherd Neame Brewery and Greyhound Racing. 

Anyone is welcome to put forward ideas for events and new venues, they  are usually well attended, especially if they include a good pub with good food.
